About the Role

As a Category Analyst, you will transform data into actionable insights to shape category strategy, shopper growth, and commercial decisions for Australia's leading bakery brands. You will be a key member of the Category, Shopper & E-Commerce team, leveraging data and emerging technologies to influence go-to-market planning and shelf execution.

Responsibilities

  • Turn data into clear, actionable insights for sales, category, and shopper teams
  • Lead the monthly Category Report by analyzing performance, market trends, and competitor activity
  • Present insights to stakeholders across the business
  • Lead POG/space analysis and support customer range reviews
  • Deliver ad hoc analysis across promotions, pricing, campaigns, and e-commerce
  • Build strong relationships with internal teams and external data partners

Requirements

  • Strong Excel, PowerPoint, and general MS Office skills
  • Proven analytical capability and attention to detail
  • Confidence presenting insights and influencing stakeholders
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work to deadlines
  • Continuous improvement mindset with a collaborative, values-driven approach
