About the Role

The Risk and Investigations practice conducts sophisticated research and investigations to provide actionable intelligence, helping decision-makers mitigate risk, protect assets, and remediate compliance issues.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and analysis using public-domain sources and field inquiries to support due diligence and business intelligence projects.
  • Evaluate information and sources for accuracy, reliability, and relevance in risk assessment.
  • Contribute to the provision of advice on risk mitigation strategies.
  • Create research reports, presentations, and link charts to document investigative findings.
  • Proactively identify and manage new research tools, sources, and approaches to ensure high-quality and cost-effective outcomes.

Requirements

  • Keen interest in research and due diligence work.
  • Experience in conducting research or investigation work.
  • Resourceful and self-starting mindset with experience in fast-paced, dynamic settings.
  • Excellent English language writing skills.
  • Ability to travel to client and FTI offices.

Salary/Compensations

  • $88,000 - $107,000 (inclusive of Superannuation)
