About the Role

Recruit qualified candidates for academic programs in a compliant, appropriate, and professional manner. Provide information and guidance to potential students on enrollment and admissions processes. Evaluate and resolve student inquiries and issues, ensuring satisfaction for the student, Unitek College, and regulatory agencies. Uphold enrollment standards by complying with regulations and enrolling only eligible students. Demonstrate a positive attitude, concern for students, teamwork, excellent time management, and a strong work ethic. Use approved materials and adhere to company policies and best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Spend the majority of time directly interacting with prospects/students in person or on the phone.
  • Meet all minimum standards outlined per the performance management program.
  • Take inquiry calls from potential students regarding programs, entrance requirements, curricula, and academic standards.
  • Encourage qualified prospects to schedule an interview appointment.
  • Return web inquiries and calls promptly, providing accurate program information.
  • Make outbound phone calls to potential students who have expressed interest.
  • Participate in organized phone-a-thons and dialing campaigns.
  • Initiate unsolicited leads and generate new business.
  • Follow up on inquiries that fail to schedule or attend an interview.
  • Follow up with students who dropped or cancelled to resolve issues.
  • Schedule and conduct student interviews, ensuring compliance with Financial Aid policies.
  • Utilize approved company materials and follow stated policies during interviews.
  • Explain program offerings and match college benefits to student needs.
  • Advise students on suitable programs based on their desires, qualifications, and objectives.
  • Ensure admissions management meets with potential students and is informed of their motivations and concerns.
  • Provide basic information and routine advice on programs and eligibility requirements.
  • Serve as a liaison between students and campus, assisting with enrollment forms and documentation.
  • Partner with Finance to ensure a high level of customer service during the transition.
  • Follow up to ensure financial aid packaging is complete.
  • Mentor and advise students to help them identify their unique skills and interests.
  • Address easily-resolved inquiries and concerns, referring more difficult issues as needed.
  • Ensure appropriate action is taken to satisfy the student, Company, and/or regulatory agencies.
  • Accurately account for all inquiries and admissions activity.
  • Complete daily activity reports.
  • Ensure all pre-start paperwork is completed accurately and timely.
  • Keep all required reports current and accurate.
  • Attend and complete all required training.
  • Attend meetings as directed by supervisor.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ customer service, telemarketing, or sales experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to fulfill Company Key Behaviors.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Ability to work assigned/flexible hours necessary to complete the job on a weekly basis.
  • Regular, in-person attendance up to 5 days per week on campus/on site is an essential function of this position.
  • This role requires on-site collaboration with students, faculty, and staff.

  • USD 30 - USD 40 - hourly
