About the Role
Drs. Hiura & Hiura Optometrists is seeking an Optometrist to join its respected third-generation private practice. Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive routine and medical eye care in a private practice setting.
- Perform eye examinations, ocular disease management, and glasses and contact lens prescriptions.
- Educate patients on their eye health.
- Document care accurately in the electronic health record.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers as needed.
- Collaborate with opticians, technicians, and front desk staff to ensure smooth patient flow and an exceptional patient experience.
- Utilize advanced technology, including Optos, HFA-3, OCT with anterior segment, autorefractor, and topographer.
- Assist in growing specialty services.
- Maintain a friendly, patient-centered environment.
Requirements
- Licensed Optometrist in California.
- Kind, personable, and clinically skilled optometrist genuinely invested in patient care.
- Ability to provide thorough exams and build meaningful patient relationships.
- Clear communication skills with patients and team members.
- Confidence in caring for a diverse range of patients and visual needs.
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with advancements in optometry and personalized treatment.
