About the Role
P&G Canada is seeking a full-time Regional Availability Expert to support the GTA Central territory. This role focuses on executing store and territory level availability strategies to achieve sales goals, improve in-stocks, open sales, and display compliance at Walmart stores, thereby accelerating revenue for P&G Grooming and Oral Care businesses.
Responsibilities
- Understand the P&G Grooming and Oral Care businesses, objectives, category, marketplace, and competitors.
- Develop effective working relationships with the Regional Availability Manager to identify issues/opportunities and execute solutions.
- Improve POS, in-stock, open sales, and display compliance at target stores.
- Take ownership and prioritize stores within the allocated territory based on opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with Department, Store, and Zone management to gain alignment on new display and checkout distribution.
- Improve in-stock fundamentals.
- Leverage the in-store acceleration tool kit with key decision makers.
- Engage and train appropriate store, market, and regional contacts to ensure plan execution.
- Capture and relay feedback from store and regional managers.
- Post in-store execution daily/weekly via Microsoft Teams/Engage for RAE team reapplication.
- Efficiently and economically plan all specified store visits to achieve required outcomes.
- Attend the annual team meeting.
Requirements
- High School Diploma (College Diploma or Higher Education is an asset).
- Located in or willing to self-relocate to the territory; relocation support is not available.
- 5+ years of relevant retail experience.
- Valid driver’s license and a suitable vehicle for business travel; candidates must have the right to operate their vehicle legally.
- Moderate working knowledge of tools and service needs.
- Proficiency in using laptop and mobile technology (Microsoft Word, Excel).
- Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to climb ladders.
- Ability to work in various physical conditions.
- Must be able to spend approximately 30% of the day traveling to accounts in urban, rural, and expressway conditions.
