About the Role
This hands-on role blends creative design thinking with front-end engineering to architect the surfaces and interfaces used by developers. You will partner with engineering, product, and design teams to define the look and feel of a category-defining developer platform.
Responsibilities
- Design and ship product experiences across the platform
- Develop responsive, accessible, and interactive interfaces using React, Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS
- Translate visual concepts from Figma into high-quality, interactive experiences and prototypes
- Maintain high standards of craft and consistency
- Establish and maintain a reusable design system of components and patterns
- Collaborate with designers, engineers, growth, and product leads to own projects from concept to launch
Requirements
- 5+ years of product design experience at a high-growth startup
- Portfolio demonstrating strong systems thinking and end-to-end ownership
- Strong prototyping fluency across interaction, visual detail, and motion
- Track record of building internal tooling or systems
- Exceptional sense of visual craft with attention to typography, hierarchy, and UI
- Low-ego, high-ownership mindset
- Ability to work 4 days a week in the San Francisco HQ
