This role is responsible for a team of sales professionals to drive sales activities and strategies for capital markets and managing and developing select client relationships, ensuring a superior client experience and compliance with risk and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for a team of sales professionals to drive sales activities and strategies for capital markets.
  • Manage and develop select client relationships.
  • Provide a superior client experience.
  • Ensure compliance with risk and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist Senior Leadership with strategic planning for the group.
  • Partner with sales teams, relationship managers, investment bankers, traders, and other internal service partners to develop client materials.
  • Provide appropriate solutions based on in-depth assessment of client objectives and market conditions.
  • Allocate client coverage to optimize alignment.
  • Coordinate the execution of sales and marketing strategies, including new product development, to maximize sales and new business activity.
  • Continually develop knowledge of industry and market developments, deal flow, and regulatory requirements.
  • Enforce compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Provide coaching and leadership to develop the line of business.
  • Be customer focused, aligning customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions.
  • Assess and effectively manage all risks associated with business objectives and activities to ensure adherence to PNC's Enterprise Risk Management Framework.

Requirements

  • University/college degree required.
  • Higher level education such as a Masters degree or PhD is desirable.
  • Industry experience typically 8+ years.
  • Specific certifications are often required.
  • In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
  • This position is subject to the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act (FDIA) and, for any registered role, the Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 (SAFE Act) and/or the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), which prohibit the hiring of individuals with certain criminal history.
