About the Role

This senior individual contributor role will pioneer product marketing for MCP, owning product messaging and positioning, go-to-market strategy, sales enablement, and the evidence and impact engine. The position reports to the Chief Marketing Officer.

Responsibilities

  • Own the product messaging framework for product and service lines, including new solutions.
  • Synthesize customer, market, and competitive insights to align messaging with customer needs.
  • Develop new messaging strategies and ensure consistent communication across teams.
  • Partner with product and innovation teams to ensure messaging success.
  • Own the product launch/GTM motion and execution for upcoming solutions.
  • Serve as the primary accountability for successful GTM rollouts.
  • Coordinate the overall schedule, planning, and execution for GTM motions.
  • Partner with Product, Innovation, RevOps, and Marketing to develop and execute a sales enablement strategy.
  • Create sales enablement content as needed.
  • Build and lead an engine to ensure a continuous flow of evidence, from research to case studies and testimonials.
  • Ensure impact stories support the wider brand narrative.
  • Define product marketing at MCP, its role, and its collaboration with other teams and partners.
  • Create process, templates, and strategies from scratch.

Requirements

  • Experienced product marketer with practical knowledge of essential tools.
  • Experience generating customer and competitive insights.
  • Experience creating product messaging frameworks and GTM strategy from scratch.
  • Direct experience with PMA or Pragmatic approaches is helpful.
  • Deep understanding of the K-12 market.
  • Knowledge of instructional strategies, competency/mastery-based learning, blended learning, and math proficiency landscape.
  • Experience in the classroom or in school/district offices is ideal.
  • Fluency in the needs and challenges of educators and education leaders.
  • A builder excited about creating process, templates, and strategies from scratch.
  • Comfortable with both high-level strategy and hands-on marketing execution.
  • Creative and flexible approach to getting things done.
  • Genuine curiosity for AI's role in marketing.
  • Serious hands-on familiarity with AI tools in a marketing context.

  • $113,000 - $135,000 per year
