About the Role
Perform complex operations including engine, electrical, fuel, brake, and exhaust repairs on large commercial vehicles. Conduct thorough preventive maintenance inspections and provide roadside emergency service.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough, accurate preventative maintenance inspections.
- Complete all required maintenance operations including lubrication, fluid changes, brake adjustments, and tire rotation following schedules.
- Perform unscheduled maintenance as needed with direction from the Fleet Maintenance Supervisor.
- Perform complex engine, electrical, fuel, brake, and exhaust repairs and field tests, interpreting technical materials.
- Perform emergency roadside services as needed.
- Inspect equipment and diagnose mechanical defects.
- Document repairs and parts on work orders completely and accurately.
- Maintain tools and workplaces so that conditions are neat and orderly.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Be flexible for on-call service calls, extended hours, or weekend work during emergency conditions.
- Drive vans, buses, and vehicles to perform road tests etc. as required.
- Perform other duties as required.
Requirements
- Accreditation from a school or certification program preferred.
- Complete all training requirements.
- Pass pre-employment background checks.

- $25-$30 Depending on experience.
