About the Role

The Bilingual Account Representative will support Aviso's Correspondent and Institutional Services by providing exceptional service to clients, team members, and other stakeholders. This role is crucial for the Correspondent and Institutional Services team, which offers comprehensive custody and trading services to help portfolio managers, dealers, and financial partners grow their businesses.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor client account activity and gather information for client responses.
  • Collaborate with Operations and IT teams to review activities and process requests.
  • Review incoming transfer documentation for completeness and process requests, ensuring follow-up.
  • Inform partners of outgoing transfer requests and coordinate account transfers according to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Receive and direct daily processing activities handled by Aviso or other parties.
  • Handle general inquiries regarding processing activities via phone and email.
  • Produce reports on client accounts and other activities as needed.
  • Participate in management and other service-related tasks.

Requirements

  • University or college degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
  • Successful completion of the Canadian Securities Course.
  • At least two years of customer service experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to gather information effectively and follow up in a timely manner.
  • Organizational skills, attention to detail, excellent time and priority management, and multitasking ability.
  • Excellent problem-spotting and problem-solving participation skills.
  • High degree of initiative, thoroughness, and adaptability.
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Capability to ensure client issues are handled appropriately and escalated when necessary.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to quickly master new technology.
