About the Role
CBCity is seeking a community-focused Parking Compliance Officer to ensure community safety by enforcing parking regulations and related laws across the local area. This customer-facing role involves detecting and reporting non-compliant vehicles, patrolling public spaces, and investigating breaches.
Responsibilities
- Enforce parking regulations through patrols and surveillance.
- Educate the community and liaise with stakeholders on compliance.
- Prepare and present court briefs when needed.
- Maintain databases and monitor signage for required updates.
- Respond professionally to customer enquiries and complaints.
Requirements
- Current Class C Driver's Licence.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and collaboratively in a team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including accurate report writing.
- Proven record-keeping skills and ability to interpret relevant legislation.
- Experience in preparing and presenting evidence in court.
- Customer-focused with strong problem-solving, negotiation, and discretion.
- Must hold an Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or possess a valid work permit/visa with full unrestricted working rights.
- Successful applicants may be required to undertake a Criminal History Check, Medical and/or Working with Children Check.
