About the Role
As a Strategic Account Manager, you will grow and expand relationships with key clients in the Life Science & Healthcare sector. You will orchestrate a team selling across SaaS products and consulting services, driving new business growth through up-selling and cross-selling.
Responsibilities
- Deliver scalable long-term growth by expanding annual contract value (ACV) year-over-year.
- Exceed new business, retention, and total business sales targets.
- Uncover and exploit new revenue streams.
- Collate, pressure test, and deliver on forecasts to the business.
- Develop strategic account plans and devise strategies for transformational growth.
- Motivate and deploy the Global Account team to execute account plans.
- Understand client's strategic initiatives, executive leadership, culture, key brands/pipeline assets, and processes.
- Build new and develop existing relationships with Senior Leaders (SVP+) at the client.
- Grow spend across new departments, therapeutic areas, and regions.
- Identify key business questions to develop new partnerships and leverage internal resources.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with the team and wider organization to secure resources and advocate for the client.
- Build strong internal networks to influence strategic direction.
- Partner with Customer Experience, Product, and Marketing teams to optimize the client journey.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of relevant experience selling into Global Large Pharma Customers.
- Experience orchestrating Global multi-dimensional Client relationships in a matrix environment.
- Demonstrated existing relationships across Technology, Data/Digital, and business leaders.
- Experience selling complex and bespoke Data, Insights, and/or Consulting solutions.
- Experience with advanced data integration projects, knowledge graphs, and/or AI-enabled use cases.
- Hands-on experience in Commercial Strategy, Portfolio Strategy, Pricing and Market Access, and/or HEOR.
