About the Role
Autodesk is seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst to join the Strategic Data & Research team within the Go-To-Market Data Intelligence (GDI) team. The GDI team delivers foundational data and customer intelligence to inform go-to-market (GTM) teams' engagement across the customer lifecycle. Data Analysts shape GTM focus areas by uncovering insights, influencing business decisions, and partnering across functions to deliver customer intelligence.
Responsibilities
- Own analytics projects from problem definition through delivery, identifying opportunities to refine scope as new insights emerge.
- Drive investigative analyses, using business context and data to determine the next questions worth answering.
- Collaborate with Program Managers to explore new project ideas or enhancements.
- Translate ambiguous business questions into structured analytical approaches that drive actionable decisions.
- Partner with Data Scientists to identify areas of improvement for Data Science models.
- Work with Data Engineering and Business Intelligence teams to operationalize customer intelligence and make it accessible.
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders, influencing decisions through clear, actionable data storytelling.
- Build scalable reporting to measure progress in key initiatives.
- Develop deep expertise in Autodesk’s customer and go-to-market data ecosystem.
- Work as an individual contributor with opportunities for leadership as the team grows.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Data Science, or Business Analytics) or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
- 4+ years in an Analyst role.
- Strong SQL coding skills and comfortable using it everyday.
- Experience with Snowflake.
- Experience working in Python or R.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code or equivalent) to accelerate data work, automate repetitive tasks, and improve analytical productivity.
- Comfortable with presenting data and storytelling using a variety of tools, ranging from PowerPoint to Power BI to Python.
