About the Role
We are looking for energetic, motivated, and career-minded Installers and Service Technicians to perform onsite maintenance, service, and repairs in residential homes. You will ensure customers' heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning equipment meets or exceeds safety codes and standards, follow Energy Star installation processes, and educate customers on proper care and maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Perform onsite maintenance, service, and repairs in residential homes.
- Ensure customers' heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning equipment meets or exceeds Technical Standards & Safety Authority codes and municipal building codes and standards.
- Follow all Energy Star installation processes and procedures.
- Educate customers on proper care and maintenance and promote various HVAC options.
- Complete general and specific HVAC equipment inspections.
- Maintain a clean, fully stocked vehicle.
- Promote products and services on every call.
- Provide a five-star experience on every call or make it right before leaving the customer's home.
- Request online reviews from customers.
- Contribute to high standards of health and safety.
- Complete the installation and commissioning of HVAC elements.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years recent HVAC experience with exposure to furnaces, central and ductless air conditioners, gas boilers, water heaters including tankless heaters.
- Valid Gas Fitter Two License.
- Residential Air Conditioning License (Journeyman or RedSeal).
- Valid Driver's License with a clean record.
- Clear criminal record.
- Demonstrated strong technical and customer service skills.
- Demonstrated company metrics in current and previous roles.
- Effective HVAC lead generation and CPP enrolments.
- Comfortable working from heights and using a ladder.
- Accountable and responsible personality.
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively within a team environment.
- Must pass a Criminal Background Check.
