About the Role

A-MAX Insurance is seeking motivated individuals to join their growing team as an Insurance Sales Agent. This role offers intensive training, licensing support, and an opportunity to build a rewarding career in insurance sales with a focus on customer service and client acquisition.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with various insurance needs including new policies, policy edits, payments, renewals, and reinstatements.
• Inspect vehicles to assess insurance risk based on condition, age, and other characteristics.
• Seek out new clients, generate prospect lists, and develop clientele through networking and marketing.
• Collaborate with office manager to develop marketing strategies for customer attraction.
• Perform administrative tasks, manage policy renewals, and liaise with underwriting to finalize policies.
• Assist with daily housekeeping routines.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Customer Service/Insurance Sales Experience preferred but not required.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required.
• Hold a valid and current Limited Lines or Property & Casualty License in Texas (highly preferred, but not required).
• Must have reliable transportation for daily marketing.
• Basic Computer knowledge.
• Strong written, verbal, and people skills.
• Able to work independently with minimal/no supervision.
• Quickly learn any Company/Proprietary software.
• Complete continuing education courses as required to maintain active license status with TDI.
