About the Role
Lead high-profile Healthcare Services coverage within Citi's global sell-side Equity Research platform, influencing institutional investment decisions, corporate access, and client relationships. As a recognized authority, you will shape research direction, influence global clients, and elevate Citi's market profile through thought-leading analysis and deep sector expertise.
Responsibilities
- Lead primary coverage of a portfolio of high-profile Healthcare Services stocks, delivering original, market-moving investment analysis to institutional clients globally.
- Develop and sustain market-leading client recognition across covered stocks by producing differentiated, thought-leading research that consistently ranks among the sector's top-tier output.
- Cultivate and manage relationships with domestic and international institutional clients, marketing investment ideas and sector themes that generate measurable engagement and commercial impact.
- Collaborate closely with Citi's Sales and Trading platform to ensure research insight is effectively communicated, positioned, and leveraged across the firm's distribution network.
- Engage directly with senior company executives and senior investment bankers to support corporate activity, access, and the broader development of Citi's Healthcare Services franchise.
- Apply rigorous quantitative and qualitative analysis to form independent investment views that go beyond consensus, anticipating sector trends and translating them into actionable client recommendations.
- Uphold the highest standards of ethical conduct and regulatory compliance, ensuring all business decisions reflect sound judgment and protect the integrity of clients and the firm.
Requirements
- 15 or more years of sell-side equity research experience, with a focus on Healthcare Services or a closely aligned sector.
- Demonstrated standing as a top three sector analyst, supported by a significant number of client references and external survey recognition.
- Proven track record of recent, meaningful involvement in successful corporate activity within the sector.
- Established ability to generate collaborative, globally distributed research product that demonstrably influences institutional client decision-making.
- Capacity to think independently and develop original investment theses that stand apart from prevailing market consensus.
- Active holding and maintenance of all applicable regulatory licenses required for the role and jurisdiction.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent university qualification.
