About the Role
SPI is seeking a Commercial Motor Vehicle Driver / Warehouse associate to deliver and unload finished products, parts, and materials to customer locations. This role also involves assisting in the warehouse with receiving, storing, and distributing inventory. Drivers are key ambassadors for the company, building relationships with customers.
Responsibilities
- Deliver and unload finished products, parts, and materials to customer locations.
- Assist in the warehouse to receive, store, and distribute inventory.
- Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle locally.
- Perform frequent bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 lbs during physical loading/unloading of trucks.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Read, write, and understand English.
- Use navigation software.
- Assist in the warehouse 20% of the time.
- Perform any other assigned duties, tasks, or responsibilities.
Requirements
- Minimum of 18 years of age.
- Valid driver's license.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience (10,001- 26,000 lbs vehicle).
- Acceptable Department of Motor Vehicle Record.
- Flexibility to perform warehouse duties as assigned.
- This is a safety-sensitive position.
