Responsibilities
- Maintain high standards of organization and cleanliness throughout the kitchen.
- Follow prep lists diligently and set up stations promptly.
- Sanitize prep areas, wash dishes, and ensure all critical equipment and utensils are clean.
- Recognize when dishes on the line need immediate attention and swiftly remove and sanitize them.
- Maintain organization throughout service, ensuring a smooth flow of dishes and utensils.
- Collaborate with team members to keep the kitchen running smoothly.
- Ensure the dishwashing area is clean, organized, and operating smoothly.
- Mop floors, take out trash, and organize linen in the dishwashing area.
- Set up and break down the dish machine, maintaining chemical levels and organizing clean dishes.
- Communicate effectively with staff to prioritize tasks and assist in prepping food products.
Requirements
- Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
- 1-2 years of experience in the food & beverage and/or hospitality industry.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Weekend availability is a must.
