About the Role

Join our team in Old Forge, NY, as a Tasting Room Associate. You will welcome visitors, guide wine tastings, share our wine's story, and create a fun, relaxed atmosphere. This role is crucial for daily operations, including wine sales, inventory management, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality customer service to guests in the tasting room.
• Perform wine tastings for guests.
• Maintain appropriate display of inventory and wine for retail and tasting.
• Maintain the appearance of the tasting room through general upkeep and housekeeping.
• Deliver high-quality customer service at off-premises tastings and events.
• Use the POS/Square system for accurate sales transactions.
• Perform all duties with the highest standard of quality and cleanliness.
• Be responsible for the financial results of the tasting room.

Requirements

• Must be a friendly people person with a willingness to work hard.
• Customer service experience required.
• A desire to work with the public.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Basic computer literacy, including POS system/Square.
• Must be available days, nights, and weekends.
• Must have flexibility to work at other locations when needed.
• Must have flexibility to work on and off-site events.
