About the Role
Join our Retail team as a temporary Back to School Sales Associate to deliver an excellent customer experience during the busy back-to-school season. This role involves assisting students with course materials and merchandise, processing sales, and managing inventory.
Responsibilities
- Greet and interact with customers both in person and online
- Help students find their course books, school supplies and other merchandise
- Pick merchandise for web orders
- Answer questions, ensuring customers have the information they need
- Operate a point-of-sale (POS) terminal, confidently handling all forms of payment
- Unpack boxes, stocking shelves, and merchandising products
Requirements
- Thoroughly enjoy interacting with people and helping them find what they are looking for
- Hardworking, energetic, positive outlook
- Thrive in a busy environment, comfortable with learning and working in a fast-paced work space
- Dependable - arrive on time for all shifts
- Previous customer service experience is an asset
- Move/lift/handle cartons/product weighing up to 15 kg
