About the Role
This role supports the Director of Housekeeping by managing guest requests, room statuses, and daily operational tasks to ensure consistent, professional, and engaging service.
Responsibilities
- Consistently offers professional, engaging, and friendly service.
- Standing and walking throughout the day.
- Linen Clerk duties.
- Answering phones in a courteous, professional manner.
- Computer knowledge.
- Printing daily reports.
- Opening and closing Royal Service Tickets (guest requests and needs).
- Dispatching queue rooms, changing room statuses, and placing rooms out of order.
- Updating White Board Numbers.
- Verifying Out of Services.
- Creating Task Sheets.
- Verifying Overnight Laundry is Delivered.
- Sending Show-Room Email.
- Preparing Fairmont Fits.
- Preparing the schedule for the following day.
- Constantly updating the Housekeeping Call Log.
- Schedule reviews.
- Updating changes to the schedule as necessary based on business needs.
- Daily preparation of room attendant boards.
Requirements
- Previous experience is an asset.
- Opera knowledge and experience is required.
- Frequent standing and walking throughout shift.
- Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting.
- Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs, and ramps.
