About the Role

UJET is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to join our Engineering team in Seoul. The ideal candidate will have experience shipping products, a strong focus on code quality, and the ability to manage end-to-end architecture.

Responsibilities

• Deliver backend services with high availability, low latency, and auto scalability, along with some frontend contributions.
• Facilitate collaboration between engineers, product managers, and designers.
• Translate product and business goals into technical design documents.
• Design, develop, deploy, and operate services for start-ups to enterprise clients.
• Maintain and improve current Angular & React.js/Javascript integration services.
• Build new Angular & React.js microservices as required.
• Contribute to the creation, maintenance, and improvement of frontend code for the CRM team.

Requirements

• Must be a South Korean citizen or reside in South Korea with a valid work visa.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science.
• 4+ years of experience in software development, with a preference for candidates with both backend and frontend experience, or a strong willingness to learn frontend.
• Hands-on experience developing or leveraging Agentic AI workflows.
• In-depth knowledge and experience with Node.js and JavaScript preferred, with a willingness to learn for the right candidate.
• Familiarity with Ruby, Java, Go, or Python is a plus.
• Comfortable working with Ruby on Rails code when necessary.
• Hands-on experience with third-party API integrations.
• Knowledge of CRM integrations like Salesforce and Zendesk is a plus.
• Working experience with MySQL or similar database technologies.
• Working experience with Redis or similar caching architecture.
• Proficiency in software best practices and tools such as Git, Docker, CI, and 12factor.
• Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally in a fast-paced start-up environment.
