Responsibilities

  • Plan and oversee day-to-day activities of all project workstreams, managing teams of analysts and consultants.
  • Conduct market sizing, business model development, and other quantitative analyses.
  • Perform primary and secondary research, including survey design and analysis, and interviews with subject matter experts.
  • Develop original frameworks and strategies, including customer segmentation, go-to-market strategies, and churn reduction initiatives.
  • Manage project execution, guiding and coaching junior staff, and synthesizing findings into meaningful insights.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with clients, ensuring innovative and actionable solutions.
  • Lead deck development and presentation of key findings and recommendations to clients.
  • Develop content-specific knowledge and support business development efforts and client relationships.
  • Support ongoing internal firm-building initiatives, including recruiting, mentoring junior staff, diversity and inclusion initiatives, community service, and other special projects.

Requirements

  • Plan, manage, execute, and synthesize a variety of research and analysis tasks.
  • Leverage problem-solving skills to generate original frameworks to structure client business problems.
  • Lead junior staff in designing financial and operational models and conducting secondary and primary research.
  • Identify, analyze, and evaluate go-to-market strategies, marketplace issues, and competitive environments.
  • Remain flexible and adaptable when goals or deadlines shift, and scale workstreams to meet client needs.
  • Develop and present findings to clients while building key relationships.
  • Create and confidently communicate complex ideas verbally, in writing, and visually.
  • Formulate the project's storyline and distill key information into an executive narrative.
  • Establish viewpoints on key questions beyond the explicit agreement and develop hypotheses.
  • Develop content mastery, drawing on industry and functional experience to frame issues and influence executives.
  • Serve as the key point of contact with the client on overall project deliverables, providing status updates and identifying follow-up opportunities.
  • Provide oversight and leadership in executing projects from planning to delivery.
  • Identify workstreams and delegate work effectively, balancing project needs with team development.
  • Teach best practices and provide positive and constructive feedback empathetically.
  • Enthusiastically contribute to firm growth and culture.
  • Enjoy working with teams and effectively lead and mentor junior staff.
  • Be dedicated to producing high-quality output with integrity and exceptional attention to detail.
