About the Role

Serve as the primary architect bridging the gap between raw data systems and user-facing requirements, ensuring internal teams have cutting-edge AI tools to operate at peak performance. Balance cloud governance and security with high-velocity prototyping to ensure internal operations run on seamless, secure, and scalable automated systems.

Responsibilities

• Own the application lifecycle, working directly with cross-functional teams to map business logic, prototype solutions, and build functional web applications, software agents, and automated technical workflows using Python.
• Construct Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines and integrate LLM environments like Vertex AI with internal databases.
• Maintain secure Google Cloud Platform (GCP) sandbox environments, managing IAM permissions to enforce least-privilege access controls.
• Ensure all internal tools and AI deployments are secure, cost-monitored, and aligned with cybersecurity and data compliance policies.
• Turn early-stage ideas and rough workflows into robust, production-grade architectures.
• Partner with the core Data and AI team, PMs, and BAs to ensure a clean technical handover.
• Maintain organized code repositories, API schemas, and technical documentation to ensure the internal AI ecosystem scales smoothly and sustainably.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2–3 years of hands-on software development experience with a heavy emphasis on writing clean, production-grade Python.
• Proven track record of building and deploying web applications and configuring APIs within public cloud infrastructure, specifically Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including Vertex AI, Cloud Functions, and BigQuery.
• Strong understanding of modern LLM frameworks, vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, BigQuery Vector Search), and RAG pipeline architectures.
• Ability to integrate advanced AI models into practical, user-facing tools that solve real-world operational bottlenecks.
• Collaborative builder with the ability to translate manual workflows and non-technical business needs into technical requirements and working code.
• Experience in deep technical consultation, helping stakeholders evaluate model selection, technical feasibility, and application design.
• Self-starter and problem-solver who enjoys turning raw ideas into sleek, automated apps.
• Obsessive about maintaining system security, data privacy boundaries, and cost guardrails.
