About the Role

This is an opportunity for a Compliance Senior Analyst to join the Regional Compliance Team at BCG, working within EMESA, NAMR, or AP Regional compliance teams. The Global Compliance team provides oversight on critical compliance topics, developing and implementing capabilities, toolkits, frameworks, and trainings to ensure adherence to values, code of conduct, laws, and policies. This generalist role supports compliance advisory, training, communications, reporting, and procedural tasks, with a focus on client and project acceptance processes. It involves proactive work on various compliance tasks and projects, including client acceptance, bribery and corruption, insider trading, conflicts of interest, third-party risk, and information management.

Responsibilities

  • Contributes to the promotion of the compliance function as a trusted advisor.
  • Supports day-to-day tasks relating to compliance programs, including training rollouts, meeting preparation, presentation drafting, and collaboration with other regional teams.
  • Supports Senior Management and the System Commercial Advisory process through the evaluation of complex clients and/or topics, and collaborates with the legal team for escalation.
  • Tracks the local adaptation and implementation of risk mitigating measures.
  • Consolidates risk reporting and mitigation measures across systems for a regional view.
  • Acts as a key point of contact for local system staff on all compliance topics.
  • Provides advice on compliance queries or connects staff to the appropriate team.
  • Supports operational tasks related to compliance training and communication exercises.
  • Collates compliance-related information and management information from business stakeholders or the Global Compliance team into timely reports.
  • Assists with compliance risk identification and reporting.
  • Performs data validation and integrity checks on compliance datasets.
  • Supports bottom-up compliance risk identification exercises, including aggregating results and producing analysis and reports.
  • Assists allocated project teams to ensure compliance considerations are identified and recorded from inception to delivery.

Requirements

  • Experience in an international working environment.
  • Experience in project management (Compliance and ethics, skillful researcher preferred).
  • Confidence engaging with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a demonstrable ability to operate with little oversight.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to prioritize and balance competing, time-urgent demands.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Outstanding English written and oral communication skills, including clear and concise writing and editorial skills and excellent listening skills.
  • Additional languages are desirable.
  • Comfortable with, and preferably advanced knowledge of, Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word), Trello.
  • Exposure to business intelligence tools: Tableau, Power BI.
  • Commitment to confidentiality required.

Experience Level

  • Minimum 3 years relevant experience in BCG global services.
  • Alternatively, 3-4 years’ experience in a compliance function or other risk management discipline such as audit, fraud examination, quality control, risk analysis within a financial/banking institution, professional services, or consulting firm or international business.

Education Level

  • An academic degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Advanced degree preferred.
