About the Role
Curtis Lumber is seeking a Yard Foreman with knowledge of building materials and a strong leadership background to monitor employee activity, delegate tasks, and develop team performance.
Responsibilities
- Monitor employee’s daily activity and delegate or assign work as appropriate
- Challenge and develop employees’ performance, provide feedback, and hold direct reports accountable for their goals and job responsibilities
- Motivate employees and offer opportunity and reward appropriately
- Make recommendations to Manager regarding efforts to control employee turnover
- Make recommendations to Manager regarding employee performance for coaching, review, and disciplinary efforts
Requirements
- 2 years forklift experience
- Must be able to lift 50-80lbs regularly
- Work outside year-round
