Responsibilities
- Analyze lab-work results and educate patients and their families on dietary recommendations.
- Build meaningful and long-term relationships with patients and their families in an intimate outpatient setting.
- Commit to improving patient health through clinical goal-setting and quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- State licensure required if licensure is available in the state where the facility is located.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, possibly for multiple facilities and travel when needed.
- Successful completion of the Competency Assessment for Renal Dietitians (CARD) with a score of at least 80% required after hire and training.
- Intermediate computer skills and proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook required as well as functional proficiency with DaVita specific applications within 60 days.
- We maintain a drug-free workplace and perform pre-employment substance abuse testing and background verification checks.
- We will consider for employment all qualified applicants, including those with criminal histories, in a manner consistent with the requirements of applicable state and local laws.
