About the Role

Tower Research Capital is a leading quantitative trading firm seeking to hire engineers to develop electronic trading infrastructure at a world-class level. Our engineers solve challenging problems in low-latency programming, FPGA technology, hardware acceleration, and machine learning. We empower portfolio managers to build their teams and strategies independently while providing the economies of scale that come from a large, global organization.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage highly scalable and efficient services on a hybrid cloud infrastructure using Kubernetes/Docker on public and private cloud.
Contribute to the efficiency and reliability of the build system by improving and maintaining tools like CMake and Buck2.
Develop and maintain a system for dependency and release management to ensure the smooth deployment of software updates.
Optimize the CI/CD system for reliability, performance, and scalability.
Ensure infrastructure is resilient, secure, and scalable to meet the demands of the development team and business needs.
Understand the needs of development teams and evangelize appropriate open-source and proprietary tools to push the boundaries of automation and productivity.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Math, Physics, or related field.
One (1) year of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
Experience with Linux fundamentals.
Writing code for high frequency trading systems.
Building tools for exchange simulators.
