About the Role
The Branch Service Manager Floater is responsible for covering branch offices within the bank’s full footprint in the absence of the assigned Branch Management. This role assumes responsibility for the total operations of a bank branch office while covering.
Responsibilities
- Travel to all branches within the assigned area (Orange County, Rockland County, Westchester County, Bronx). Travel to locations outside of your area may be required.
- Manage the branch office, assuming responsibility for all administrative and operational duties.
- Ensure proper service levels are achieved for all clients, including potential, existing, and Private Bank or Orange Wealth Management clients.
- Oversee staff development and management.
- Conduct the interviewing process for available positions.
- Conduct daily huddles and monthly meetings with staff covering operational, security, and staff topics.
- Motivate, coordinate, and monitor employees’ interaction with clients to ensure proper service levels are met.
- Maintain product knowledge to assist clients and identify cross-sell opportunities, ensuring all branch staff have appropriate knowledge.
- Take a leadership role in maintaining the bank’s culture.
- Be attentive to the bank building and equipment.
- Function as a Business Banker as needed.
- Be responsible for audit outcomes and internal controls as documented in policies and procedures.
- Perform as a mortgage loan originator and ensure submittal of complete mortgage packages.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly audits of operations.
- Ensure branch operations align with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Perform additional duties assigned by management.
Requirements
- High School Diploma required.
- 5 Years Banking Experience required.
- 3 Years Management Experience required.
- This position supervises all branch personnel.
- This position has a high level of confidentiality.
- Requires initiative, good judgment skills to determine customer, staff, and branch needs.
- Knowledge of banks policies and procedures is required.
- Spontaneous decision making skills are essential.
- Requires strong Communication and Leadership skills.
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude, handle difficult situations, and have an open mind.
