About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our Hospitality Fulfillment team. This critical role focuses on the order fulfillment process within restaurants, ensuring smooth operations by working across backend services and microfrontends to build features for our Express POS. The ideal candidate will demonstrate extreme ownership, navigate complex systems, be flexible and adaptable, leverage AI tools effectively, and provide technical leadership to drive the team forward.
Responsibilities
- Take extreme ownership of features and outcomes, seeing fixes through regardless of where the problem lies in the stack.
- Untangle massive systems and solve high-stakes puzzles requiring creative thinking and persistence.
- Be a flexible 'whatever it takes' engineer, ready to jump in and support the team in various areas, including frontend or infrastructure.
- Leverage AI tools daily to solve complex problems and maintain high-quality standards.
- Provide technical leadership, make smart decisions, and address tech debt proactively.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience building software for high-traffic, production environments.
- High proficiency in Golang and ideally JS/TS.
- Experience integrating AI into workflows for coding and debugging.
- Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns for scalable systems.
- Solid command of English (min. B2).
- Experience with AWS, Terraform, or Kubernetes.
- Ability to mentor others through code reviews and knowledge sharing.
