Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff.
• Adhere to menus and recipes, special dietary needs, correct portioning of food, food presentation, and proper serving methods as instructed by the executive chef.
• Attend to residents’ individual dietary needs when taking and delivering food orders from residents and their guests.
• Maintain comfort, privacy, and dignity of our residents.
• Work under the supervision of and take instruction from the executive chef and sous chef.

Requirements

• Ability to speak, read and write English.
• Must submit and pass all applicable pre-employment and annual tests and meet all training and other applicable state and federal guidelines.

Skills

• Caring & compassionate attitude for others.
• Thorough understanding of sanitation and infection control practices.
• Strong customer service focus; ability to multitask.
• Ability to work collaboratively with others.
• Experience in food preparation, cooking techniques, cooking, plating, culinary arts, and/or hospitality is preferred.
