About the Role

Pinterest is seeking inquisitive, well-rounded Full-stack engineers for its Monetization engineering teams. In this role, you will collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to enable new technologies and experiences, build robust frameworks and features, and empower developers and Pinners. You will have the opportunity to find creative solutions to complex problems and drive new initiatives from inception through to release.

Responsibilities

Own UI development lifecycle for monetization products, including designing, architecting, and shipping ad-creation flows for AI-powered ad formats.
Build full-stack Pinner-facing features to enhance the inspiration experience on Pinterest.
Contribute to and lead all stages of the product development process, from ideation to implementation and release, including prototyping, A/B testing, and scalable architecture.
Partner with design, product, and backend teams to build end-to-end functionality.
Suggest new product ideas and features from a Pinner's perspective.
Employ automated testing to ensure high technical quality of developed features and components.
Grow as an engineer by working on varied and high-impact projects with experienced peers.

Requirements

4+ years of industry full-stack development experience building consumer or business-facing products.
Proven ability to build scalable web UIs using React, Typescript, Redux, GraphQL, and REST APIs.
Comfortable architecting and building scalable web UIs with React, Typescript, Redux, GraphQL and REST APIs.
Proficiency in common frontend and fullstack tech stacks, including Javascript, React, API, storage, caching, and data processing.
Experience following best practices for writing reliable and maintainable code.
Ability to stay current with new technologies and assess their applicability.
Strong collaboration and communication skills.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
