About the Role

Worksite is looking for a safety-minded professional who is resourceful, self-motivated, and highly organized to support retail customers with their safety equipment needs. This full-time sales role will be based out of our new North York Training Centre and involves conducting scheduled qualitative mask fit tests.

Responsibilities

• Support customers in finding appropriate worksite safety equipment.
• Conduct equipment sales transactions (cashless).
• Perform store opening and closing tasks.
• Monitor inventory of training centre materials and supplies.
• Resolve customer questions about Worksite training and services.
• Provide qualitative mask fit testing to individuals as booked online.
• Educate mask fit customers on mask use best practices.
• Perform other duties as required to support the location and client services teams.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in customer service and sales in a retail environment.
• Experience in an occupational health and safety role preferred.
• Education in medical administration or occupational health and safety preferred.
• Experience in delivering qualitative mask fit testing is considered an asset.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced and independent setting.
• Working knowledge of and experience using Google Drive and Gmail.
• Proficiency with Square use or other cashless POS system is considered an asset.
• Ability to prioritize conflicting priorities and manage multiple deadlines.
• Excellent organization and communication skills.
