About the Role
Ferguson is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team, offering a career where you can be home daily with no nights or weekends. This role is crucial in delivering quality supplies and ensuring customer satisfaction across various industries.
Responsibilities
- Deliver materials to the customer, utilizing pallet jack and two-wheel dolly to load and unload.
- Ensure delivery of ticket with material.
- Pick up customer returns, validating product match for credit requests.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Fuel the truck as needed.
- Report any problems or issues to supervisor.
- Follow and implement all company safety policies and procedures.
- Assist warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for shipment as needed.
- Assist warehouse personnel with receiving, verifying, staging and stocking incoming material.
- Work overtime as needed.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE), such as a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs.
Requirements
- Must hold a valid CDL Class A.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Meet and maintain qualifications for CDL requirements.
- Must currently have, acquire, and/or maintain a valid DOT Medical card.
- Ability to lift items that weigh up to 50lbs.
- Able to navigate and operate basic technology, including iPads.
- Pre-employment drug and background screening required.
Skills
- Warehouse operations and logistics (shipping, receiving, delivery) is a plus.
- Strong communicator with a customer-focused approach.
