About the Role

The Division of Social Sciences invites applications for an Adjunct Professor of Philosophy to teach a General Ethics course for our Hudson Link Prison Initiative (HLPI) Program. This course will be offered from August 24 to December 4, 2026 at Shawangunk Correctional Facility.

Responsibilities

  • Teach a General Ethics course for the Hudson Link Prison Initiative (HLPI) Program.

Requirements

  • A master’s or doctoral degree in Philosophy or a related field.
  • Commitment to strong, effective, and inclusive teaching.
  • Previous college teaching experience in the discipline/field is preferred.
  • Submit a letter of interest, current curriculum vitae/resume, official transcripts from all graduate-level institutions, and two letters of reference.
