About the Role

We are looking for a Test Engineer Communication Management (m/f/x) for our client in the radio and communication industry. Join our expert team and work with passion and team spirit on exciting projects and future-oriented technologies.

Responsibilities

• Conceive, create, and specify new automated and manual test cases based on system requirements.
• Independently execute automated tests, maintain them continuously, and functionally extend the existing test framework using Python and Pytest.
• Perform manual tests, analyze error behavior, and undertake precise investigation and documentation of software bugs.
• Coordinate closely with software development for bug fixing and transparently report test results to project management.
• Create and maintain norm-compliant test documentation in Jira and Xray, considering standards for safety-critical software (DO-178C).

Requirements

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a comparable qualification or training.
• Sound experience in manual and automated software testing and framework extension using Python, Pytest, Jira, and Xray.
• Solid know-how in network analysis and system landscape with Linux Network Stack, Layer 3 routing protocols, Wireshark, Proxmox, and optionally network security.
• First prior knowledge or contact points in the area of safety-critical software standards according to DO-178C or in the context of a BSI approval are advantageous.
