About the Role

GoodOaks is an award-winning home care company seeking a Care Coordinator in Barnet & Enfield. This role is vital for ensuring clients receive exceptional care through organizing schedules, maintaining communication, and providing direct care when needed.

Responsibilities

  • Produce weekly rotas and care scheduling to ensure adequate provision of care.
  • Carry out care assessments and communicate with clients.
  • Undertake regular care visits, including evenings and weekends when needed.
  • Perform daily troubleshooting and problem-solving.
  • Manage staff absence, allocate calls, and cancel care calls when necessary.
  • Facilitate GoodOaks in providing a continuous and reliable service.
  • Organize schedules based on clients' requested call times and care professional availability.
  • Maintain effective communication with staff, clients, families, and professionals.
  • Cover care calls as required.

Requirements

  • Highly organized and efficient coordinator with a people-focused approach.
  • Strong communicator with all types of people.
  • Ability to remain positive and build relationships with clients.
  • IT confident, enabling effective scheduling, team contact, and work planning.
  • Experience using ACP or another care software package.
  • Highly reliable.
  • Ability to foster a strong team ethos and keep morale high.
  • Growth-focused and supportive of continued development for self and team.
  • Dedicated with high energy levels.
  • Willing to undertake a DBS check to work with vulnerable adults.
