About the Role
The Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) Administrator configures and maintains the ACAS suite and its RHEL server. This role involves setting up automated scans for ISSO review, assisting with audits, and utilizing in-depth Linux Command Line knowledge. The ACAS Administrator is a vital part of the Cyber Security Support Team, working closely with the Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO).
Responsibilities
- Execute ACAS Vulnerability Scans weekly and generate reports.
- Employ configuration guidance based on DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG).
- Maintain the ACAS server suite and conduct scanning procedures on physical and virtual servers.
- Support the Risk Management Framework (RMF) program for MTC network enclaves.
- Configure, operate, maintain, and update the Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) server suite.
- Conduct scanning of the three MTC enclaves (Unclassified, Secret, and Secret Releasable) and provide scan results monthly or as directed.
- Perform vulnerability scanning of interconnected PM Systems of Record and provide results to the assigned technician.
- Use the ACAS Best Practices Guide as the definitive source for system operation and configuration.
- Complete the current ACAS Operator and Supervisor Course within 90 days of hire.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of related work experience with ACAS, RMF, and the Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) server on a DOD network.
- Current SECRET clearance required to start.
- Must be able to obtain Top Secret clearance.
- US Citizenship Required.
