About the Role
The main goal of this position is to provide operational and strategic support for our e-commerce business on online marketplaces, particularly Amazon. You will help us identify new product potentials, create clean product data, optimize listings, and reliably monitor ongoing marketplace operations.
Responsibilities
- Support the management and further development of our online marketplaces, especially Amazon.
- Research, evaluate, and prepare new product and assortment potentials for online sales.
- Create, maintain, and optimize product data, listings, texts, images, keywords, and relevant mandatory information.
- Support troubleshooting of marketplace issues, e.g., with faulty listings, catalog problems, or technical messages.
- Monitor and support operational marketplace processes, especially concerning FBA, FBM, inventory, availability, and shipping procedures.
- Analyze relevant key figures and derive simple recommendations for action to improve assortment, content, and processes.
- Close collaboration with Marketing, Sales, Purchasing, Warehouse, and Customer Service to ensure smooth marketplace business.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled as a student, ideally in a Master's program, e.g., in Business Administration, Marketing, E-Commerce, Business Informatics, Media Management, or a comparable field of study.
- Ideally possess initial practical experience in e-commerce, online marketing, marketplace management, or product data maintenance.
- Interest in online marketplaces and how products are successfully made visible and purchasable online.
- Structured, careful, and reliable work approach with enjoyment in learning new systems and processes.
- Good understanding of numbers, data, and product information.
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel; initial experience with Amazon Seller Central, Shopware, ERP systems, or analysis tools is advantageous.
- Very good German language skills and good English language skills, both written and spoken.
