About the Role

The Warehouse Technician is responsible for processing orders, preparing shipments, receiving inventory, and maintaining equipment. This role ensures facility cleanliness, manages inventory levels, and supports the team in loading and assembly tasks while strictly adhering to HIPAA compliance and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Safely load and unload materials from trucks, containers, and pallets
  • Receive and process merchandise shipments, packing slips, and invoices
  • Verify quantity and quality of incoming and outgoing shipments
  • Transport materials to storage using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks
  • Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and replenishment
  • Monitor expiration dates and report stock shortages to management
  • Prepare shipping containers, create labels, and assemble outgoing merchandise
  • Pick and pack orders accurately according to order sheets
  • Conduct routine equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
  • Adhere to PPE, infection control, and hazardous materials handling procedures
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness and discard waste daily
  • Perform data entry, track orders, and complete clerical tasks
  • Document returned items and clean equipment per guidelines
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and company programs

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalency
  • Ability to lift and move up to 85 pounds regularly, 100 pounds frequently, and 160 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including stretching, bending, stooping, and crouching
  • Ability to work in environments with fluctuating noise levels, temperatures, and potential hazardous materials
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to demonstrate empathy, compassion, and respect for privacy
