About the Role
Mastercard is seeking a Manager, Employee Relations Advisor to join its Global Employee Relations team. This role will primarily support and assist in the development and administration of the performance management process, fostering a positive and productive work environment through fair and consistent practices. The ideal candidate will leverage ER best practices to support Mastercard's culture of decency and fairness, aligning with company values and local laws.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the administration of the performance management process.
- Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on performance management tools and systems.
- Respond to employee and manager inquiries regarding performance issues.
- Assist in the resolution of employee conflicts and performance-related concerns.
- Participate in investigations related to performance issues and employee complaints.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of performance evaluations.
- Assist in preparing performance-related documentation, including Coaching Plans.
- Advise People Business Partners and the business on probation matters.
- Coordinate training sessions for managers on performance management best practices.
- Advise People Business Partners, managers, and employees on company policies and processes.
- Partner with internal employment counsel, compliance, and People Business Partners to manage employee relations issues.
- Establish strong cross-functional relationships at all levels and geographies.
- Identify opportunities to enhance the employee experience through process improvement and service refinement.
- Offer potential solutions to drive greater stakeholder satisfaction.
- Actively engage in change to drive successful execution.
- Demonstrate expected behaviors and escalate issues appropriately and timely.
Requirements
