About the Role

The role requires a self-starter comfortable working autonomously, providing clear and decisive advice, and managing competing priorities in a fast-moving, international environment. This role will contribute to Teads' broader transformation agenda, including the responsible implementation of AI and digital tools within the employment context.

Responsibilities

  • Officially preside over the Comité Social et Économique (CSE) meetings in France, acting as the primary representative of the company and management.
  • Independently define, draft, and set the agenda (ordre du jour) for all CSE sessions in compliance with French labor law timelines.
  • Take full, ultimate responsibility for creating, reviewing, and managing all official documentation, legal notices, and mandatory reports required for the CSE.
  • Lead discussions and negotiations with employee representatives and trade unions, ensuring a constructive social climate while protecting company interests.
  • Partner closely with local HR teams who will support operationally by preparing draft responses to employee questions, while maintaining final oversight and ownership of the collective relationship and its documentation.
  • Monitor global legal developments and advise on cross-jurisdictional compliance.
  • Standardize and update global employment contract templates and separation agreements.
  • Develop and maintain compliant employment policies and internal training materials.
  • Provide pragmatic legal advice on employee grievances, investigations, and daily P&C queries.
  • Manage regional litigation, terminations, and claims, coordinating with external counsel as needed.
  • Research global employment law trends and provide actionable summaries to key stakeholders.
  • Track regulations regarding AI, workplace tech, and data practices across EMEA.
  • Support the legal implementation of AI, automation, and digital HR initiatives.
  • Collaborate with privacy and product teams on AI governance and employment data protection.
  • Advise on legal implications of AI-driven HR tools and workforce monitoring programs.

Requirements

  • Qualified solicitor (or equivalent) with EMEA experience, specifically in France.
  • Professional fluency in French and English for daily legal drafting and communication.
  • 4–6 years of dedicated employment law experience, including French labor law.
  • Experience supporting global businesses across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Self-starter capable of working autonomously and providing commercial, risk-aware advice.
  • Ability to translate complex legal concepts into clear guidance for all stakeholders.
  • Submit CV in English.
