About the Role
The Royal College of Pharmacy is seeking dedicated pharmacists to serve as Regional Ambassadors. This voluntary role involves representing the College at local events, disseminating policies, engaging with members and the healthcare community, and providing feedback to the College. This is a pivotal time as the organization transitions to the Royal College of Pharmacy.
Responsibilities
- Represent the College at local university careers fairs and profession-wide events.
- Shape the local representation of the College.
- Disseminate College policies within local networks.
- Reach out to members, non-member pharmacists, and the wider healthcare community.
- Provide feedback from local pharmacy professionals to the College.
Requirements
- Must be currently working within the region they wish to represent.
- Must be a RCPharm member.
- The term for this role is 1 year, with the possibility of continuation.
- Appointed Regional Ambassadors must continue to meet the member specification; stepping down is expected if the role requirements are no longer met.
