About the Role
As Senior SEA Manager, you will own Google Shopping & Search and Bing campaigns from strategy to execution. You will architect, challenge, and optimize campaigns with a focus on KPIs and efficiency, identifying opportunities to drive business impact. This role is for individuals passionate about paid search, systems thinking, and AI-powered automation, offering significant ownership, budget, and impact.
Responsibilities
- Plan, implement, and own Google Shopping & Search and Bing campaigns end-to-end, from strategy and structure to day-to-day optimization.
- Strategically develop and scale the paid search advertising channel, shaping its long-term direction.
- Take full responsibility for significant advertising budgets, spending them as if they were your own.
- Optimize the search & shopping campaign portfolio end-to-end, including structure, bidding, audiences, feeds, and copy.
- Analyze performance data, surface insights, and translate them into concrete optimization actions.
- Own the annual budget plan and KPI framework; present results and strategy to senior stakeholders.
- Lead A/B and multivariate testing initiatives and turn learnings into lasting improvements.
- Collaborate closely with Analytics, Data, Pricing, and Country Management teams to ensure campaign relevance and measurement accuracy.
- Actively encourage the use of AI tools, scripts, and automation to multiply impact.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on SEA / Performance Marketing experience, with proven ownership of Shopping and Search campaigns at scale.
- Deep expertise in Google Ads (Search & Shopping), Bing Ads, Google Merchant Center, and feed optimization.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data, find patterns, and act on them.
- Proficient in Excel / Google Sheets.
- Comfortable with attribution models and web analytics (GA4, etc.).
- Fluent English is a must.
- German is a strong plus.
