About the Role
An exciting opportunity to join our Greece & Cyprus Investment Banking team in London. The team provides strategic advice and capital markets solutions to leading corporate, financial sponsor and government-related clients across Greece and Cyprus, leveraging the full spectrum of the bank's global capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Support the execution of M&A, equity and debt capital markets transactions, as well as strategic advisory assignments.
- Work closely with product and industry teams on transaction execution and business origination initiatives.
- Build and review complex financial models and valuation analyses, including DCF, trading comparables, precedent transactions, LBO and merger models.
- Lead the preparation of client presentations, marketing materials, pitch books and transaction documentation.
- Conduct detailed company, industry and market research and translate findings into actionable insights.
- Analyze corporate and financial information to support strategic dialogue and investment recommendations.
- Coordinate workstreams across internal teams and external advisors to help drive transaction execution.
- Build and maintain sector expertise and stay abreast of market developments relevant to the Greece and Cyprus client base.
Requirements
- Proven investment banking experience, preferably within M&A or corporate finance advisory.
- Fluency in both English and Greek.
- Strong academic record with an undergraduate degree from a leading university; relevant postgraduate qualifications are advantageous.
- Excellent accounting, corporate finance and valuation knowledge.
- Advanced financial modelling and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated transaction execution experience and ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Ability to perform well under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong project management, organisation and problem-solving capabilities.
- High levels of professionalism, motivation and intellectual curiosity.
