About the Role
Seeking SC-cleared consultants for a high-profile public-sector programme focused on cost optimisation, commercial improvement, and strategic sourcing. This role offers the chance to work in a fast-paced delivery environment, identifying efficiencies, optimising spend, and delivering measurable value.
Responsibilities
- Deliver consulting workstreams with limited supervision.
- Support cost optimisation, value improvement and efficiency initiatives.
- Contribute to strategic sourcing and commercial improvement activities.
- Gather, analyse and synthesise quantitative and qualitative information.
- Develop client-ready reports, presentations and recommendations.
- Structure complex problems into clear and actionable work plans.
- Build relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Facilitate workshops, meetings and stakeholder discussions.
- Manage risks, issues and dependencies across delivery activities.
- Support programme governance, planning and reporting.
- Work collaboratively within high-performing consulting teams.
Requirements
- Must already hold active, transferable SC Clearance.
- Must currently hold active UK Government Security Check (SC) Clearance.
- Clearance must be transferable to a new government assignment.
- Must be available to start immediately or at short notice.
- Experience within consulting, advisory, transformation or professional services environments.
- Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills.
- Ability to independently manage workstreams and deliver against deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience engaging with senior stakeholders.
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to unfamiliar business environments.
- Strong organisation and delivery management skills.
- Ability to work onsite in London 3-4 days per week.
