About the Role

Seeking SC-cleared consultants for a high-profile public-sector programme focused on cost optimisation, commercial improvement, and strategic sourcing. This role offers the chance to work in a fast-paced delivery environment, identifying efficiencies, optimising spend, and delivering measurable value.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver consulting workstreams with limited supervision.
  • Support cost optimisation, value improvement and efficiency initiatives.
  • Contribute to strategic sourcing and commercial improvement activities.
  • Gather, analyse and synthesise quantitative and qualitative information.
  • Develop client-ready reports, presentations and recommendations.
  • Structure complex problems into clear and actionable work plans.
  • Build relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Facilitate workshops, meetings and stakeholder discussions.
  • Manage risks, issues and dependencies across delivery activities.
  • Support programme governance, planning and reporting.
  • Work collaboratively within high-performing consulting teams.

Requirements

  • Must already hold active, transferable SC Clearance.
  • Must currently hold active UK Government Security Check (SC) Clearance.
  • Clearance must be transferable to a new government assignment.
  • Must be available to start immediately or at short notice.
  • Experience within consulting, advisory, transformation or professional services environments.
  • Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to independently manage workstreams and deliver against deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience engaging with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to unfamiliar business environments.
  • Strong organisation and delivery management skills.
  • Ability to work onsite in London 3-4 days per week.
