About the Role

The Senior Tax Advisor will assist with the management of the in-house global Transfer Pricing ("TP") function, including governance routines, reviewing data sources, and designing, implementing, and maintaining TP methodologies. This role requires managing several projects, engaging with senior individuals, and effectively managing tax risk.

Responsibilities

  • Researches, analyses and interprets complex tax laws and regulations.
  • Assists in the development of complex transfer pricing methodologies.
  • Tracks the preparation of transfer pricing related tax compliance and reporting requirements.
  • Identifies and implements process improvements.

Requirements

  • Must be able to manage several projects at one time.
  • Must engage with senior individuals in business and support functions.
  • An energy to learn about the Company’s businesses and manage tax risk effectively and efficiently are required.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Both an independent working bias and an ability to operate within cross-functional teams are also important.

Skills

  • Working knowledge of OECD Guidelines and US Transfer Pricing Regulations
  • Analytical and problem-solving mindset
  • Advanced experience in law firm, accounting firm or financial services specialising in transfer pricing
  • Financial services experience
  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Effective communication skills
  • Intermediate-level proficiency in Excel, Word and Powerpoint
  • Strong upward management skills
  • Working knowledge of international (non-US) tax systems
  • Effective business influencer
