About the Role

As a Supplier Relationship Executive, you will facilitate seamless collaboration between Home Claims and suppliers through daily tools. You will help shape tools for supplier instructions, scoping, updates, and communication, ensuring efficiency for all parties. You will provide clear Management Information (MI) to enhance customer and business outcomes. By working closely with colleagues and suppliers, you will understand current and future needs, translating them into an achievable roadmap for supplier interaction that aligns with the Home Claims strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of the supplier scoping and communication tool used by Home Claims, ensuring effectiveness and efficiency for the business and suppliers.
  • Collaborate with supplier management, operational teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to define current and future needs for the supplier tool, covering scoping, costing, updating, and providing clear MI.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of the tool to influence decisions on its usage, improvement, and integration, continuously reviewing performance and addressing issues or escalations.
  • Agree on a clear, prioritized roadmap for setup and integration enhancements, working with change and technology teams to connect the tool with other Hastings and supplier systems, and manage configuration changes.
  • Review each release to identify issues, capture learnings, and improve future rollouts.
  • Work closely with the tool provider on improvements, innovation, and commercial opportunities while fostering a strong working relationship.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for inquiries regarding the usage, management, and changes to supplier tooling.

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience in configuring and understanding claims tools.
  • Exposure to systems change and/or implementation.
  • Experience working with suppliers.
  • Confidence in working with people at different levels to agree on and deliver change.
  • Ability to shape strategic decisions.
  • Proven ability to translate complex requirements into clear and understandable terms.
  • Thorough referencing process, including credit and criminal record checks.
