About the Role

Manage, plan, and direct the day-to-day operations of the Equipment Services Team nationally in a 24/7 fast-paced operational environment. Ensure prompt and efficient service, customer satisfaction, and cost-effectiveness. This includes providing timely service for Equipment Service and Repairs, managing parts inventory, and real-time reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and monitor workloads and service performance of all Technicians, both internal and external.
  • Manage and monitor all Service Requests.
  • Create and manage internal and external Technician/dispatch territories and schedules.
  • Meet all financial billing and invoicing deadlines.
  • Monitor daily performance, analyze service trends, and provide feedback to optimize Third-party Service Providers relationships and performance.
  • Ensure Health & Safety compliancy and Safe Operating Procedures.
  • Manage and lead the performance management of the Equipment Services team and Third-Party Service Providers.
  • Conduct team performance reviews.
  • Develop employee potential for future growth within the company.
  • Monitor and Report on KPI’s and create action plans to meet and exceed them.
  • Assist in creation of reports and relevant dashboards.
  • Participate in costing for RFP’s, Tenders, and customer quotes.
  • Provide input towards departmental budgets, forecasts, and plans.
  • Participate in development of Third-Party Service Provider contracts and agreements.

Requirements

  • Be available to address Internal and Partner (Sub-Contractors) needs and concerns in a timely manner.
  • Ability to deal with a high level of stress and promptly solve problems as they arise.

Skills

  • Extensive knowledge of the Janitorial industry.
  • Managerial experience within a fast paced, agile operational environment.
  • Up to date knowledge within technology within Janitorial industry.
  • Bilingual English and French will be an asset.
