About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated individual to actively shape the Falkenhagener Feld in Spandau through community work. This role involves developing and implementing various community engagement formats, organizing volunteer efforts, and supporting residents.
Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for own thematic focuses in consultation with colleagues and implement different formats of community work.
- Organize, initiate, and support volunteer engagement.
- Advise and support residents during consultation hours and by appointment through referral counseling and own expertise.
- Take responsibility for and manage offerings in neighborhood facilities and provide occasional support to the mobile community work team for outreach activities.
- Perform tasks in public relations, reporting, and committee work, and provide administrative support to the department head.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues from mobile community work and neighborhood coordination, as well as with various cooperation partners.
Requirements
- Completed degree in Social Work/Social Pedagogy or a comparable qualification.
- Work with a people-centered, empathetic, and respectfully professional approach.
- Possess intercultural competencies.
